Paranormal
Over the last 17 years of investigating, Mike
has experienced a lot of unexplained phenomena including a table appearing to
be pushed over when there was no one within 20 feet of it! Apparitions on 2
separate occasions, as mentioned in the “About Mike” section. A table which
danced in time with our nursery rhymes during a table tipping session, even at
one point, spinning around on one leg with nothing but one finger on the table.
A very intriguing evp (Electronic Voice Phenomena) which was recorded in a
deserted abbey in 2004, this is the clearest evp we have ever heard, as no one was near the area and there has
been no door in this particular building for over 400 years, it is one bit of
evidence that we would truly call paranormal. Please click here to listen to the evp.
Of course most investigations are pretty quiet with not much happening. Mike has been lucky to investigate with some fantastic people throughout the years that have made these quiet times very enjoyable.
On the spiritual side, one bit of evidence stands head and shoulders above anything else he has ever had the fortune to investigate. The following notes are his findings from an investigation at a private location in Hertfordshire:
“Upon entering the location, I could feel the energy of a great sadness
emanating from the barn. Entering the barn, I could feel the presence of a
young female stood near the doorway to the left. After the spirit built up the
energy, she managed to show herself to me.
She was aged around her late teens, had dark shoulder length hair, was of
chunky build, but not fat. Had very heavy rimmed glasses, was wearing clothes
reminiscent of clothing worn by girls during the Rock’n’Roll era of the late 50’s/early
60’s, A light pink skirt/dress underneath a fawn coloured ¾ length raincoat.
With white ankle socks and black patent leather looking shoes. She was very
quiet and shy and didn’t appear to be of any great intelligence. After a few
moments, the image of her had disappeared. A while later, I was shown a name
being written down in simple looking handwriting. The name spelt Anne Noblett.
Then I was told by the spirit that she wasn’t strangled, as some people had
said, but she was suffocated. I then got the impression of a sack being put
over my head and something being pushed into my face (maybe a pillow or
something similar?). Another communication came through with her saying that
she needs the culprit to be punished for what he did. I had the strong feeling
that this is what was keeping her from moving on.
Throughout the evening I was presented with more images, which can maybe be pieced
together. Firstly A Black “Morris” type small van, typical of the era was shown
to me driving away from the barn towards where the house now stands, although
there are stables to the side of the lane now, no buildings on the right hand
side were seen in this image, also no number plate or distinguishing features
were seen on the car/van. In the back room of the barn, I could see them image
of a mass wrapped inside a light grey sheet, I got the impression of this being
a body, it was laid on it’s side, encased in some form of chest/trunk (possibly
a freezer?) . The unnatural cold emanating from this room and other areas of
the barn, as noted by others, could suggest this. I was also shown the image of
a man in his early 40’s in blue overalls with a connection to the name Michael,
although I don’t feel this was connected to Anne. I was later given the words
Cherry Tree. This could relate to a building (pub?) I was also given the
impression that her death occurred on New Years Eve, but not at the site her
body was stored. She managed to state that her killer was a family member,
giving me the impression of an Uncle called Jack or Alfred and that she got
into his car after getting off the bus.”
Most of this information has since been proved to be 100% accurate, and the
case remains unsolved and still open. I can confirm that I had no prior
knowledge of anything stated above. As this is a private location, I wasn't
even aware of it's location until the evening we arrived, having met the other
members of the group in a nearby town.
